A Cornerstone to Build From
Nov 20th, 07 | 26 remarksA few weeks ago, I alluded to a premium Wordpress theme in development that was schedule to launch in mid November. I’m so pleased (and excited!) to announce today the release of that theme, Cornerstone. It’s a fixed-width, widget ready magazine style layout, offering a lot of built in features.
Considering the popularity magazine (or news) layouts has gained in recent months, I thought I’d step up and try to fill some of the demand. This theme focuses heavily on maximizing the exposure of content, is highly customizable, simplistic in nature and easy to set up.
Designed to suit both blogging enthusiasts and entrepreneurial minded individuals equally well, Cornerstone can be quickly manipulated to display the content you want - where you want it. Other venues such as community portals, news sites, corporate blogs or affiliate marketing sites may find Cornerstone to be a solid solution as well.
Last but certainly not least, the demographic which stands to benefit the most from Cornerstone is the designer/developer. My people! ;) This theme is called Cornerstone for a reason… because a lot of work went into building something which could be used as a foundation for creating other themes. A support product, if you will.
Cornerstone is all these things and more. I learned a lot from putting it together, and I hope you’ll find it to be a great choice (among a growing many) in the theme marketplace.
Ooooooh this is what I’ve been waiting for all these weeks. Gonna test the demo and hoping to purchase it soon.

Just kidding. Thanks so much for this theme. I was planning to redesign and change the concept of my site, where it updates content weekly. More like a magazine, with issues. I know, I promised not to redesign but I just can’t help it… T_T
I was playing with The Morning After and Mimbo, but I wanna check this one out.

Thanks for the little boost in confidence! :) If you buy it, please let me know what you think, or if you run into any problems. There’s only so many bugs that can be squashed pre-launch. The rest come from user reports so I’d appreciate any/all feedback.
