Distorted Wallpapers

May 4th, 07 | 1 remark

It’s Friday, and I spent most of the morning playing around in Photoshop with a technique I picked up from a recent tutorial over at PhotoshopUser about liquid backgrounds. The instructions call for the use of Smart Filters, and I don’t have CS3 yet so I had to ignore those references specifically, but in following the rest I came up with two very different wallpapers using a gradient layer adjustment and distort filters.

I kinda liked the results. :) Now presenting, free for your enjoyment, the very first installment of DA desktop wallpapers (currently only available in 1280×1024 format).
