Hanging My Sign

Fresh out of the wrapper, Design Adaptations is intended to serve as a resource for designers, developers, freelancers, owners and users of websites. Okay, that’s a broad statement so I’ll elaborate…

This site strives to inform and inspire those in search of a better way to build websites, focusing on tools like Wordpress and CSS. It’s about being more productive online, and improving your understanding of website management from an owner/manager standpoint. It’s also about the freedom of creative expression, while working within and supporting web standards.

Some of the things I plan to add as DA grows include an offering of Wordpress themes, possibly a gallery of user submitted open source CSS based designs, and a forum to discuss design/dev/freelancing issues. I also hope to release some fun stuff like icon sets, photoshop brushes, or maybe even t-shirts! ;)

Don’t forget to grab the feed so you don’t miss out on anything. More will be revealed, pal.

06/19/08
One of the most frustrating things for me since I started writing on this blog was the lack of a logo I really loved. That's not to say I haven't tried. But logo design, to me, is kind of a thing all it's own and I'm just not very good ... [ » ]
