Introducing Pink Adaptations – a free Pink for October Wordpress theme! I’ll be proudly displaying this theme here on DA as soon as I finish a few last minute tweaks specific to my blog. You don’t have to wait on me to see it though – jump over to the demo and check it out. ;)
Noteworthy
This is a very simple, 2column fixed-width theme, designed for resolutions of 1024×768(+). Employing only five graphics, and extremely light-weight CSS (it took far fewer lines than I thought when I first started playing in Photoshop), it loads very quickly and has plenty of options for content display and/or arrangement of affiliate badges, etc.
My intention was to make this theme easy to implement on any blog that wanted to go pink this year, by leaving out any heavy code customizations or features that could be problematic to implement. In other words, it requires no plugins, but should play nice with any you’re using. As always, it’s widget-ready, and XHTML/CSS valid.
Observances
This theme is licensed under a CC Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License. I would appreciate the footer link remaining intact, but it’s not required in order to use the theme.
Bug Hunting
Please report any display bugs that might pop up despite my testing. Your feedback is much appreciated! Fixes will be noted in updates to this entry. Comments and suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
