Plans for the Future of DA
Apr 8th, 08 | 4 remarksJust a few announcements really. First, the Cornerstone theme site is moving! It seems the trendy thing to do is host a separate site for premium theme demos, but I just don’t see the need when releasing themes was one of my goals for Design Adaptations anyway. So it’s going to be integrated right into the DA framework, and that’s just the start.
I’m really looking forward to launching everything I’ve been quietly working on the past couple weeks. One of which is Cornerstone 2.0. Yep, the original is getting a makeover, and will soon be re-released. More to come on that (like a detailed changelog) when it’s ready. ;)
Additionally, two more theme releases are (still) on their way - Cornerstone Press and Solidarity - which I’m hoping to release simultaneously and right on the heels of Cornerstone 2.0. Also a more organized “storefront” for presenting individual theme info, demos and purchasing options is in the works. A support forum will likely follow as well.
Finally, Design Adaptations is (eventually) going to get a redesign to make room for the additional content. I don’t have any solid concepts on that yet, but it’ll be a fun process.
Whew, with all the things I’m trying to finish at once sometimes it feels like the going is soooo slow. I swear I add two things to my projects list for every one thing I scratch off, but I’m making progress and I’m very excited about the changes to come! In the meantime you might see some weird things happening here while everything is being reorganized. Please bear with me, and pardon the temporary dust and debris. ;)
p.s. If you purchased a copy of the original version of Cornerstone, you are eligible for a free update. Please get in touch with me if you’re interested and I’ll provide you with the details when 2.0 is released.

Nice to see you’re back to work again. I can’t wait to see Cornerstone 2.0 when it’s released. I’ll stay tuned for updates. ^_^
Apr 16, 08 | 6:55 pmThanks Kevin. It’s almost done too. Yay! I’m more excited about this release than I was the first time around for some reason. Maybe because I think Cornerstone will be more well-rounded now with the changes. :)
